Privacy Policy

Your text

The writing tools process your document in your browser. This version does not send your document to a Top Word Counter account or store it on our servers.

Local storage

When auto-save is on, the editor saves a local copy of your text on your device. Writing activity is also saved locally. Turning auto-save off removes the saved document; clearing this site's browser data removes other local records.

Optional browser services

Talk to type depends on your browser's speech recognition service and may send audio to the browser provider. A website count request contacts the website address you enter. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Hosting

The hosting provider may process technical request information to deliver and secure the website. Do not enter sensitive information on a shared device.

This page describes the current tools. The site owner should review it before public launch or adding new services.
